THE BIG PERVERTED BROTHER

The Big Brother season is here with us again.


The season when Africans are treated to televised practices of moral decadence.

This time round there are 27 africans  in that famous Sodom and Gomorrah called ‘’the house’’

The big brother is one thing that has ever added any value to this continent if you ask me. The fact that the take home prize for the last idiot standing has been raised to US dollars 200,0000 does not even justify the objective behind this big brother thing. It beats me where is the fun is in locking up random strangers in a house then waiting for them to fall sick, fight, have sex or shower ?



I think some bored white guy was hanging out with his friends when he suddenly had a moment of inspiration and said to his pals ‘‘ ….hey guys what if we started a reality show where we lock up guys, put them under camera surveillance get them drunk occasionally and watch them having sex…?..’’ Then the friends stared at him in awe and exclaimed …’’ you are a genius !!!!” in their lives they had never such an intelligent man . That’s how it spread to the Motherland.

Enough with trying to figure out the genesis of this madness -The Big Brother .

So back to the house I hear the Kenyan Participant Millicent was a pioneer of sorts . She is said to have been the first to kiss someone on the show – on the second day !!

This is reminiscent of a former female participant who left an indelible mark in the house for her bi-sexual shenanigans I wonder if she was left with a tongue after the departure from the house. Woman used to lick and kiss anything. Her name escapes me but it wouldn’t add value to my life if I remembered.

She came back and like minded fans feted her like she had come back with a Marathon gold medal .One radio presenter yapped on and on about how this woman had made kenya proud- I cringed in pain.

Sadly for the weeks running Africans will keep their eyes glued to their screens with abated breath grabbing their nethers in anticipation, waiting just waiting for someone to get naked. The specimens in the house will be treated to alcohol ,discretion and inhibition will be frowned upon. They’ll be given childish tasks like singing nursery rhymes and playing hide and seek. They will make bubbles out of soapy water .

I’m sure there will be a task where they will cross dress. It’s the big brother and 200,000 US Dollars for grabs. The first lady to flash a boob will be lavished with praise and the first man to lay a woman in the house will go down in continental history .

Nonsense utter nonsense and waste of time !

WHY DON’T YOU GET ANGRY ?

Anger the emotion as we know has long been viewed in negative terms.


I’m not going to be trite and start defining anger according to some dictionary: this is because every one of us has been angry more than one time in our lives and thus we know what anger is.

As a matter of fact there is someone reading this who is angry right now since I chose not to define -anger according to some Webster or Oxford dictionary. The whole point is Anger is probably the most prevalent of our emotions in our world today. I bet I get angry more than I laugh on any one given day.

How do you handle you anger? That’s the critical question. When you get angry are you said to have hit the roof , irked, pissed off or enraged? The degree of anger and how you channel it is important when it comes to handling anger. Whichever way you look at it anger is good - well at least sometimes.

Most of you would agree with me that some of the life changing decisions in our lives we make in a fit of anger or rage. Take for example a lenient employer who for a long time has been putting up with ineptitude from his employees….it only takes a fit of rage for him to scream ,’’You are fired !!!’’ and the problem is hence solved forever.

Let’s flip the coin now and look at the Employee. Yes the employee who is always mistreated and underrated by his/her boss . Low pay, long working hours verbal assault etc. This is one person who needs to get angry and when he/she gets angry the message will be communicated to the insensitive employer. Are you that lenient employer or are you that meek downtrodden employee?

Are you in dysfunctional relationship or marriage ? what more would it take to make you angry and say ‘’Im fed up ! ‘’Is your partner taking you for granted? Are you assaulted and abused more than you are cuddled ? its time to bring on the RAGE ! It is time to say enough is enough .No one has the key to your happiness apart from yourself.

Anger has been motivating factor to the regime changes in North Africa. The people got to that point of no return .Back home in Kenya we are very slow to anger . No wonder the politicians are always taking advantage of us . They dare us ‘’ mtado ? ‘’ . We are like what Fela Kuti sang ’’…suffering and smiling ….‘’

Anger sometimes is good. Get angry but don’t kill, maim or destroy

Taking care of our MPs

I have lately taken some keen interest in the MPs pay hike demand and I must admit I was least moved by their audacity.
One thing We Kenyans fail to comprehend is that our MPS are quintessentially Kenyan and are a reflection of our society.
Our MPS are a wasteful myopic ,selfish skirt chasing bunch.
For the past 10 years the August house has seen new entrants into the political world who were cast into Parliament thanks to the Narc and ODM waves.
Some of them previously worked in humble careers suddenly found themselves earning a six figure salary which was a bit too overwhelming.

It’s an open secret that most of the members of the house had not tasted the lavish lifestyle that being an Mp introduced them too.
They have gone on overdrive and Womanizing is the order of the day .They pay house rent for their several mistresses spread across the country. It’s like a competition among them to see who is the biggest stud of them all.

There is even a new craze among them for chasing after the TV news presenters and the winners of Miss Ugali, Miss River Road, Miss Anything and other various beauty pageants.
Some are known to mesmerize college girls to the Coast with impromptu holidays .
As a result of this most of the honorable members are always broke.
Every man knows that there isn’t a more expensive venture in the world than skirt chasing.
Its been said that ‘’ You can lose a lot of money chasing women, but you'll never lose women chasing money. "

Please fellow Kenyans lets be considerate and support our Mps in their favourite past time.
Lets make sure the Janettes, the Ritas,,Achiengs ,Njeris, Biancas and Aminas are well taken care of by our Mps.Lets not castigate them for being- Real Kenyans.

Blogs- The literal karaoke

Thanks to blogs everyone can be a writer in the hope that some internet voyeur will get to read his/her ruminations ,lamentations thoughts or desperate rants.
Blogs are the like the literal karaoke dont discriminate .
Everyone has an opportunity to shine.
A place where no one cares if you are retarded,genius or plain demented.
Blogs are comforting- reassuring in the end you know that someone will read your thoughts and that really helps when you want them to know what you think secretly hoping that they will post a comment that will be both relevant and helpful.

A place where there are no critics to put you down and no publishers to throw your mediocre work into the trash can.
Your poor grammar ,your evil thoughts, your long boring rants will be published by well...yourself.
Poetasters have joined the fray and thanks to blogs they can pass themselves for poets.
The innocence and beauty has as a result been defiled and blemished .
But yet again this is the blogosphere where anything goes.

we are the world- saving Haiti

Just watched the video for the remake of the classic '' We are the world " in dedicated to the rebuilding of Haiti after the devastating earthquake.
My opinion ? Well .. first i would like to aknowledge that this effort was made for a worthy cause which is commendable...but again some songs cannot be remade ,remixed or otherwise since they are perfect and this is one of those. The remake is poorly arranged and disgusting ! i got a headache right after watching it.
Lil Wayne ...OMG ! that was a bad idea ...him and other rappers ruined the whole song...i mean how can you rap on such a song ? Its like adding salt to honey ; certainly the wrong seasoning.
Conclusion : Just let the classics be...dont deface the historic musical edifices !

SINGLE ,HAPPY AND FREE?

Im at the crossroads.
There is nothing that is more valued than happiness and freedom in anyones life. The thought of going wherever ,whenever and doing whatever you please without explaining yourself to anyone is just a blessing.
All these things however cease to be a treasure at some point in life as i will explain in my next post........approx 3 months from now .OMG ! Im such a lazy blogger !

LIFE AND IT'S PEOPLE

Life has a way of handing us a raw deal from time to time .
They say life is never fair and that's how we have to take it. But other instances are so profound that they make one wish at that point Jamie Kennedy's voice would suddenly go like .....''.youve been Xd .... you are on my hidden camera show. ''
Then you laugh sheepishly - its really long since i heard or used this word it sounds so archaic he..he..he Hey! wait a minute ,life does not let you off that easy and its not even a dream ,-its 100% real !!!
Take for example losing a loved one, or it could be the painful break up of a relationship or even losing your job/source of income when you are at your lowest. Certain thing is we all deal with our pain in our own ways.
There are those who lose their heads ,those who pick themselves up and move and others well .....just sit back and do nothing for someone somewhere said , "There comes a time when the best thing to do is do nothing at all."
