Im at the crossroads.
There is nothing that is more valued than happiness and freedom in anyones life. The thought of going wherever ,whenever and doing whatever you please without explaining yourself to anyone is just a blessing.
All these things however cease to be a treasure at some point in life as i will explain in my next post........approx 3 months from now .OMG ! Im such a lazy blogger !

LIFE AND IT'S PEOPLE
Life has a way of handing us a raw deal from time to time .
They say life is never fair and that's how we have to take it. But other instances are so profound that they make one wish at that point Jamie Kennedy's voice would suddenly go like .....''.youve been Xd .... you are on my hidden camera show. ''
Then you laugh sheepishly - its really long since i heard or used this word it sounds so archaic he..he..he Hey! wait a minute ,life does not let you off that easy and its not even a dream ,-its 100% real !!!
Take for example losing a loved one, or it could be the painful break up of a relationship or even losing your job/source of income when you are at your lowest. Certain thing is we all deal with our pain in our own ways.
There are those who lose their heads ,those who pick themselves up and move and others well .....just sit back and do nothing for someone somewhere said , "There comes a time when the best thing to do is do nothing at all."

LIKE IT OR NOT - SOME HOMETRUTHS
They are always at the back of our minds in as much as we try to pretend that they dont exist.
They are like shadows and always around us.
In life i have come to learn that there are some truths and facts that just hit us like a heart attack when we least expect .
1) God is real - Is there a point in life where you felt couldnt explain yourself or whatever happened around you? - deep inside you know someone unseen had a had a hand in it?
2) Unless you are born-misanthrope it is hard when you are over 30yrs of age to say '' single and happy ..'' without flinching.
3) sex is not equal to love and love is not equal to sex.
4)You only get your true love only once in life ...and you are lucky if you get married to them....it never happens twice.
5) Money cant buy you love but it can buy you an actress who will act like she loves you.

ABSTRACT MYSTERY
Flood of pain, oozing blood ,shedding tears
Happiness, laughter misery joy and sorrow
Its a doodle ,hullabaloo ,nonsense no sense
Long one short one whatever rocks my boat
sounds of music ,sounds of pleasure
I'm puzzled ,bamboozled, flabbergasted and left aghast.
A life's maze ,labyrinth of sorts oh! I'm lost
In the thick of things drowned to the eyes
open them close for the heat is too much
Its a scrawl ,gibberish with mambo jumbo
Fifth line no ideas to fill up the urn
Bananas ,lunatics, mad , crazy words.
Mystify , bemuse from here to yonder
hither ,thither, dither, linger long enough
How can one scrawl all and still be sane
through thick and thin ,a thin line it is
between sense and nonsense for a few cents
Lexicon ,semantics, coherence problems.

kenyans ah! maze me!
The hardest people to figure out in this world are most likely my fellow Kenyans. We are resilient yet impatient , peace-loving (or pretended to be until Dec 2007) very hospitable especially to foreigners with shady pasts so long as the pockets are deep.
Worst of all we are egoists laced with pathetic greed !
I think we are the most unpatriotic people in the world. A people who would sell their country without batting an eyelid. What with the issuing venomous foreigners with our IDs and Passports helping them do their dirty deals on our soil, even helping them grab land ?
We have taken capitalism to a whole new level. Kenya has become a 'me first society' . One just needs to Que in a bank or any public place to see this kind of attitude. Have you been caught up in a traffic jam lately? then you have a better picture of what I'm talking about. why oh! why! wait a minute........... DO we always have to dream about grabbing land,robbery, defrauding,conning,bribing, extorting,forging ,conniving ? Cant we do something straight just for once? Do we always have to honour the evil and look down upon the righteous?

Possibly not commonplace, or generic or hackneyed is the way i would have loved life to be and strive to make it a reality. Ever heard of the phrase -"a breath of fresh air?"
